PRINCE LOT HULA FESTIVAL: July 15, 2000
Moanalua Gardens is a quiet place of reverence, located in Central Oahu. The Gardens are a popular spot for families to picnic amongst the manicured greens, mounds, and historic grounds. Once a year, when the Kumu Hula gather their Halau in celebration...the gardens are filled with the sacred spiritual moments for all who would come sit and experience "Laukanaka ka hula" before the pa hula. No one comes, sees, feels, and leaves the grounds this day without reverence, no one is untouched by the chants, the mele, the dance, and the spirit of this land of Aloha: Hawaii.
